我が愛車のトヨタカローラワゴン４０００００kmを過ぎました。
ほんとに凄い車です。
いろんなところに連れて行ってくれました。
有名な車で
他県のホームセンターで あっやっぱりいてたと声をかけられて
えっなんで？と聞くと、駐車場に車があったからといわれた、
なんの改造もしてなくて乗っていましたが
いつのまにかこの車イコール 僕ってなってたみたいです笑
３９９９７５kmの朝
今日走ったら４０００００になるなと思い
I drove my precious Toyota Corolla Wagon over 400,000 kilometers.
It’s a really great car.
It has taken me everywhere.
This car was particularly famous:
when I was shopping at a hardware store in other prefecture, a person walked to me and said “I know you were here!”. I said “Why?” and the answer was because the car was parked.
Though I had not customized my car at all,
it seemed everyone identified me by this car in the process.
One morning, the odometer was saying 399,975 kilometer and
I thought within today it would turn 400,000.
ふと見たらもう本当になる寸前で
And the next moment I paid attention, it was just about to turn.
ついに４０００００キロ！
ちょうど四万十川の橋の上で変わりました。
四万十で四十万
こんなシャレが長く乗ってきたこの車についてたとは
いっつもいろんなとこにつれていってくれて
ありがとう！
At last, 400,000!
The meter changed right on the bridge over Shimanto River (its characters “四万十川” literally means the river of 40010).
I never knew this car had such a witticism as an added bonus.
Thank you for always taking me to many many different places!
そしてそんな車ともお別れのときがきました。

hand-made by my good friend, a craftsman of Itto bori (one knife carving)
to keep it as a charm.
