ストーブの煙突掃除をしてましたら、
さっき びゅんと吹いた北風で飛んできたセミの抜け殻が 足下にころがってました。
今こんなのを見ると
ほんとうに夏があったのか と思うほど 遠く昔のように想える
しかし地球という乗りモノは
こうしてる間にも日は 日に日に長くなり
留まることなく次の夏に向かっている
そして、まるで冬があったなんて信じられないような
夏の日々がまっている。
As I was sweeping the stove chimney,
A sudden north wind blew a cicada shell at my feet.
Finding this now,
summer seems a long, long time ago and I cannot believe we had it.
But even as I question, the daytime gets longer day by day
and this vehicle called Earth
is making its way toward next summer, with no stop.
And the summer days, which would make us doubt winter
are waiting for us.
