今朝起きてすぐに三角点を目指した、
早朝５時前後には2307mにある横手山神社のほこらに到着
ほこらは今年はまだこの分厚い雪の下
そこでは
崖をのぞき込むと吹き上げてくる風が雪の表面の薄い氷を巻き込みながら
体が飛ばされるほど強く

目の前の山ではグレーの雲がものすごい規模と速さで谷へ向かって
くだっているその先に雲海ができあがっていく
人知れず山は自然は自然界は地球ではこんなことがおこっている。

美しすぎて、美しさを突き抜けて恐く、でも、興味もあり
その前では、簡単にこの命を失うかもしれない
その前では、簡単にこの命を再生するかもしれない
宇宙に従ってこの世界はここにある。

恐れ多くて、言葉に直して理解することもできないままに
また、元来た場所へ帰って行った。

感動して、美しさに
感動して、恐怖に、恐れに
感動して、目に映る世界の偉大なことに
宇宙に従って、帰って来た。

As soon as I woke up this morning, I headed for the trig point.
Around 5 o’clock I got to the hokora (small Shinto shrine) of Mt. Yokote Shrine at the height of 2307 meters.
There,
the shrine itself was still buried under this thick snow this year. 
As I looked down from the edge of the cliff, 
an extremely strong wind blew up, rolling the thin ice on the surface of snow,
to almost blow my body away.

Massive gray clouds were sliding down the mountain across from me, in an amazing speed to form a sea of clouds.
This is one of the things occurring in the mountains, nature, and, on the Earth, unnoticed by human beings.

I feared as it was too beautiful, though I was still attracted
I might lose my life easily here.
I might be reborn easily here.
This world exists in accordance with the universe.

I felt too humbled to translate what I just saw into words to understand
so came back where I had been.

Being moved by the beauty,
Being moved by the fear and awe,
Being moved by the greatness of the world I saw,
I came back, in accordance with the universe.
