さらに 干して発色。工程は日本と同じです。
Dry to fix the color further. The process is the same as the Japanese indigo dye.

インドネシアの伝統模様を入れました。
これは形にロウを付けて 押していきます。ズレると一目で分かるので、これもまた専門の職人さんにコツを習い 練習してからの作業です。時々様子を見にきてくれたり、他の人も布を動かしてくれたり、皆さんが協力してくださるお陰で、何とかできました。本当にいい雰囲気の工房です。
Applied traditional Indonesian pattern to my design. Waxed with a mold. You can tell if the pattern is not aligned just by looking. So I learned tips from the expert and practiced beforehand. They come see, once in a while, if I’m doing alright or help moving the fabric. Without their support, I couldn’t have done what I did. It’s a very nice workshop with a very good atmosphere.

僕は今日はちょっとフライング気味に寝てしまったので これから作業に入ります。なんてリラックスした空気の中仕事が出来るんでしょう。とてもはかどります。
Nap time! I started afternoon work earlier than everyone, since I started napping earlier. Working in this relaxing air speeds up my work.
