When making sheets of papers,
I put the roots of Tororo-aoi (aibika) in the paper making vat and mix it with the paper material solution.
It’s okura-like viscosity is useful
to make the paper material stay evenly suspended in the thickened water
and to slow the drainage of the water through the screen, and so force.
