今日は、近くにある、馬の保養施設？に行ってきました。ここは、競走馬などの、働いてきた馬が 引退してからゆっくり過ごせる場所です。よく前を通るのですが、とても大事にされているのがわかります。
っで！ぼくの、用事は？！馬のしっぽの毛を分けてもらいにきました。
普段仕事で使う筆は、全て自作で すでに６０本以上は作ってきました。
しかし 今までは靴磨き用のブラシに使われている馬の毛を使っていましたが、これからは、ここにいる馬の毛を使ってみようということです。ちょうど、ブラッシングの後で、タイミングもよく、こころやすく分けていただくことができました。
ちなみに、今回の馬は 国内サラブレット最多勝記録を もつ凄い馬なのです。そして、まさかそのしっぽの、毛が、筆になり作品になり、またどこかで活躍することになると、想像しただけでもヤバイっすね、わくわくしますね、ご縁とは、いつも想像を遥かに超えますね。はい！、がんばります！

Visited a small ranch in neighborhood. It is a facility specially for retired horses that used to work such as racehorses. I pass by the place often and they really are taken good care.
The reason I visited there was to ask them if I could get some horse tail hairs for making brushes.
I have made all brushes, more than 60 so far, for my own artworks. For those, I used the horse hairs of shoe brushes and now, I am ready to try their tail hairs. They just finished brushing when I visited and willingly gave some tail hair.
The horse actually holds a record as the winningest racehorse in Japan. It’s really exciting to think that his tail hair would become brushes to make artworks and will get attention somewhere again… how cool is it? When encountering something or someone, it happens so in a way beyond imagination.
Would love to visit there again to get closer to the horses.
