A month-long motorbike trip 12/30

A dish from the Taisho Period (1912-1926) has a Mt. Fuji motif

The table,  scraped after being coated with urushi in many layers,

has also some seashells embedded.

My eyes find and appreciate these pretty dishes.

In this season, the outside green is reflected in the room.

 A grilled mountain trout (iwana).

Bamboo shoot, walnuts, seri (Japanese parsley)

Even in the room, I encounter what I normally appreciate in the nature.

The light through shoji screen very softly lights the room, reaching the corners.

The wild raccoon visits again.
