A month-long motorbike trip 6/30

The owner gave me this bulb for mountain water
as soon as I got here.
When we heat mountain water in the bath with firewood at home,
we control the water temperature with ‘fire’.
On the other hand, in Jigokudani Onsen, where hot water of 80°C springs out everywhere
they control the water temperature with ‘water’,  by adding mountain water to
spring water so that people can bathe.
I have been in charge of controlling the hot spring temperature with ‘water’ since I arrived here.
However
It is hard for me to stabilize the right temperature

So I went up and down these stairs again and again with the bulb and thermometer in my hand.
I walk on the beach back at home daily
but because of this ups and downs, the muscles of my calves become so tight every day.
The owner gave me an advise that the muscles would be trained even more if I walk on my tiptoes… so I experiment some methods day by day.

The sense I have when experiencing, accepting and joining
the momently change of the mountain water and hot spring
that gushes out of the Earth
is exactly of the same world I have in my work.

As the nature,
the act of the universe that rules the nature,
or the weather every day
change all the time
As the formless clouds
As I am given a life as part of those

While I am busy with the water temperature, monkeys come first to check the bath 🙂

I wonder if they come here often to drink the spring water
because the water of Jigokudani Korakukan
is said to prolong life.
